Get Started on LiveAuctioneers

  • If you’re new to LiveAuctioneers, take some time to get to know us.
  • Review our policies to make sure that selling on LiveAuctioneers is right for you and your business.
  • Make sure your account information is correct by checking and editing your public profile and About Us page.
  • Enroll in Live.Payments to accept payments seamlessly in your first auction.

Create Your First Auction

  • Sign in to your new Seller account by finding the Auctioneer Sign In link at the bottom of LiveAuctioneers.com.
  • Click the blue box on the right side of the page: Set Up New Auction (or if you are in the Classic site: find your Auction Setup button in your seller dashboard).
  • Follow the prompts to Set Up a New Auction and select the appropriate Plan for your business on the next screen.
  • Tell us the Details & Date of the sale, whether it is a Live or Timed Sale (Auction Clerk), Payment Options, Bid Increments, and what your own business Policies are.
  • Upload your list of items from an Excel spreadsheet, .csv file or .txt file. See what your spreadsheet should look like here.
  • Process the images by uploading them directly to our site or to an FTP program. For more details on the recommended image format, take a look at our photo guide here.
  • Choose your cover lots and decide which items best represent your auction.
  • Pay the listing fee.
  • Proof and Preview your sale for last-minute edits before you let it go live. (Remember once it is LIVE some features cannot be edited)
  • Once you accept the agreement of our Terms and Conditions, you are welcome to Approve Auction! 
  • CONGRATULATIONS! Your upcoming sale is now LIVE on LiveAuctioneers.
