Best Practices for Auctioneer Profiles
- Provide at least 2-3 paragraphs that describe your business. Use welcoming language and keywords you think bidders may use when looking for online auctions.
- Tell your story by filling any gaps that potential bidders may have about your business. When it comes to telling a story about your company, try to answer these questions:
- When was the business established?
- What are the company’s values?
- What’s the business specialty?
- Make the Auctioneer Profile easy to scan by using bullet points and/or short paragraphs.
- Avoid using words containing all capital letters, as they can be perceived as aggressive.
-
Optimize your Auctioneer Profile to tell search engines all about your business and the kind of items you sell.
- Ask yourself what words bidders are likely to use when searching for the types of items you sell.
