To meet bidders’ expectations when it comes to online purchases, shipping costs will be included in automatic payment capture (Autopay) when optimal order conditions are met.
What are optimal order conditions?
Leveraging data from thousands of auction purchases made daily on LiveAuctioneers, our team has identified when bidders are most likely to expect shipping in their purchase. These optimal order conditions are based on numerous factors, including distance, shipping cost, and item value. When conditions are met, shipping costs will be automatically included in Autopay payment capture.
Which shipping costs apply?
Autopay will include shipping quotes available via LiveAuctioneers’ shipping program (when optimal conditions are met).
Flat-rate shipping fees entered via catalog upload and any shipping fees manually added to invoices will always be included in Autopay payment captures.
How will bidders be notified?
Throughout the auction process, bidders are informed that Autopay will attempt to charge their credit card on file. As always, our dedicated support team is available to answer all shipping-related inquiries from bidders, and can be reached at packaging@liveauctioneers.com.

How can bidders remove shipping?
All bidders have the option to pay manually and choose another shipping method before Autopay runs (with the exception of Instant Autopay).
Where can I see if shipping was included in an invoice payment?
Invoice-level shipping information is displayed in the following locations:
End of Auction Report found in Auctions > EOA
Invoice List found in Auctions > Invoices
Bidder Invoice found in Auctions > Invoices > Invoice
Can I modify the shipping method on the invoice?
Auctioneers using LiveShipping are able to update shipping methods on unpaid invoices. To change the shipping method, navigate to the Invoice Details page and select Change Shipping Method. Once your updated shipping method is selected, the invoice amount will be recalculated. Finally, re-send the updated invoice to the bidder by selecting "Send Invoice" at the bottom of the Invoice Details page.
