Accepting Payments for Your Invoices

How You’ll Get Paid

When setting up your auction, you'll select the payment methods you want to accept from winning bidders.

Your options are:

  1. LivePayments is the primary way to collect payments on LiveAuctioneers, accepting payment types such as credit/debit cards* and eCheck (ACH). Instantly collect bidder payments, offer payment flexiblity, and receive deposits directly into your bank account. Benefit from 100% fraudulent chargeback protection for all credit/debit card transactions, and ACH reversals including international payments. You can request more information on this program here, or by reaching out to the Support Team at support@liveauctioneers.com.
  2. PayPal - If you are located outside of the United States, you’re welcome to use your own PayPal account to accept payments. Notify your LiveAuctioneers account manager in order to update your account details. PayPal payments will begin to show up as payments on the Invoices page as well as within the bidder invoices themselves.
  3. Other Forms of Payments
    1. Credit/Debit Cards
    2. Personal Check
    3. COD (Cash on Delivery)
    4. Wire Transfer
    5. Bank Transfer (ACH)
    6. Zip via LivePayments

*When a bidder creates an account or registers for an auction on LiveAuctioneers, we contact the issuing bank to confirm the validity of the payment method associated with their account. This is not an actual charge. These authorizations occur on a regular cadence following account creation to consistently ensure credit and debit card validity. This validation is present during the bidder approval process, for more information please review Bidder Management 101
