You can set criteria according to your needs.
Automatically approve bidders if any or all of the following conditions are met:- You’ve previously approved this bidder
- This bidder has been approved for at least X auctions
- This bidder has won at least X items
- This bidder has spent $X
- This bidder has a verified credit card on file
- This bidder is likely approved through Live Approvals
- How do I identify auto-approved bidders?
You’ll see all auto-approved bidders in the bidder management system.
If bidders were approved before they saved an item or placed a bid, you’ll see a message letting you know: “This bidder has met your criteria to be auto-approved for your auction. Status: They have viewed one of your items. Their personal information will be shared once they save or bid on an item.”
To protect bidder privacy, you will only be able to see their physical address and phone number once they’ve saved an item or placed a bid.

What bidder information is visible?
- All approved bidders are visible within the bidder management system.
- Until a bidder saves or places a bid, some personal information (e.g. physical address and phone number) will be hidden. This protects the bidders’ privacy, while still allowing them to participate quickly. Once they save or bid, all information will be available.
