This article describes the guidelines for changing the order in which lots appear in your catalog.
Please note, changing lot order may not be an option with auctions being cross-listed from LiveAuctioneers.
This article contains the following sections:
Re-Ordering a Catalog
Once lots are added/uploaded, it is not possible to rearrange the lots or change the lot numbers. If you wish to change the order in the entire sale, the best way is to delete all lots, rearrange the lots on your spreadsheet, and then re-upload your updated spreadsheet (and associated images). The Seller Support team can assist with bulk deleting all lots for you.
If the sale has already been published and bids have been placed, and you need to bulk delete all lots - please remember that all current absentee bids will also be deleted.
Re-Ordering Individual Lots
If you only need to rearrange a small number of lots, you can do so by creating new alpha lots between your current lot numbers.
For example, if your current lot order is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and you wish to move lot 7 so that it is between lots 4 and lot 5, you can create a new lot with the lot number 4A containing all the same information as lot 7. Once you have created 4A, delete lot 7. The new lot order will then be 1, 2, 3, 4, 4A, 5, 6.
This is an easy to add new lots without disturbing the other already uploaded items.
