This article describes how lots can be edited or deleted either individually or in batches/bulk.
This article contains the following sections:
Editing Lots Individually
Please note, edits to lots cannot be made less than 2 hours prior to the start of the auction.
From your Seller Dashboard, click on the Auctions tab and select either Live Auction or Pre Auction, depending on whether or not your auction has been published.
Click on the title of the applicable auction.
Click on the All Items tab (for published auctions) or the Items tab (for unpublished auctions).
-
Click on the Edit button (Pencil and Paper icon) to the left of the applicable lot.
To delete a lot, click on the Delete button (Paper and Minus Sign icon) to the left of the lot.
Make the desired updates to the lot and/or images and then click the Save button at the bottom of the page. Please note, edits can take up to 30 minutes to reflect on LiveAuctioneers.com.
Editing Lots in Bulk (Batch Updates)
You can make edits to lots individually, and you can add lots via .CSV upload, but in order to edit lots in bulk you must submit a request to our Seller Support team.
Processing Batch Update Requests
Batch updates, like all catalog assistance requests, are processed during business hours (Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm EST).
The Seller Support team provides 1 batch update (or deletion) per catalog free of charge, or 2 batch updates/deletions if you originally uploaded the lots yourself. Additional batch updates or deletions to a catalog will incur additional fees. For more information about these fees, please contact your Client Success Manager.
Bulk/Batch Lot Edits
To have updates made to existing lots, send an email to Seller Support with a spreadsheet containing your updated lot information. You must include the lot numbers. See below for a list of fields that can be updated via batch update.
If you are adding lots to your catalog in addition to editing existing lots, the new lot information should all be on a separate spreadsheet. Please email Seller Support with two spreadsheets: 1 containing the edits to existing lots, and 1 containing the new lots.
When sending in a spreadsheet, please remember the following:
- The column titles are case sensitive.
- Do not add extra columns to your spreadsheet.
- Your spreadsheet must be a .CSV formatted file - NOT .xls or tab delimited
Bulk/Batch Lot Deletions
- Send an email to Seller Support with a spreadsheet containing of all lots to be removed,
- Alternatively, you can send an email to Seller Support with the range of lots to be removed. Be specific in your email so we do not delete lots by mistake.
