- You can also drag and drop the images into the area in the center of the page.
- The images will begin to upload. Once uploaded, click on the Process Uploaded Images button or use the Upload More Files button if you have more images to add.
- Please do not close the window until the upload is complete.
- Staying on the page helps the upload finish faster than if it's left running in the background.
-
A pop-up window will open. If everything matches up properly, click the Confirm button to process the images.
- Please do not close the window until the processing is complete.
- Staying on the page helps the processing finish faster than if it's left running in the background.
- If your images contain any sort of transparency (such as PNGs), the preview in the confirmation pop-up may appear black. This is because transparent areas will be rendered as black. To avoid this, save your images with a solid color background instead of a transparent one.
- Once your images have finished processing, refresh the page to continue with making any further auction edits.
Uploading Images via Spreadsheet
Images can also be uploaded by adding the image file names to the ImageFile columns within your catalog spreadsheet. You have the option of adding up to 20 image file columns.
Please note, adding image file columns to your catalog spreadsheet is only required if the image files are not named according to lot numbers.
For more information on formatting a catalog spreadsheet, click here.
If you add image file columns to your catalog spreadsheet, they should be titled Image File.1, ImageFile.2, ImageFile.3, etc. - up to ImageFile.20.
Additional Requirements:
- You must list the full image file name in the column, including the .jpg extension.
-
The image itself must be in one of these formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png. .tiff, .webp, or .heif/.heic
- If your images are hosted on a website, you may enter the URL location of your images in the Image File columns instead
- File names are case sensitive.
Example: If the image for lot 24 is named “warhol19front”, then the entry for the ImageFile.1 column for lot 24 would read “warhol19front.jpg”.
