This article provides steps for creating an publishing an auction being cross-listed from AuctionMobility to LiveAuctioneers.

LiveAuctioneers Listing Policies
For all of our sales on LiveAuctioneers including Timed+, most of our listing policies and regulations are based on state and/or country trade laws. Please consult the following policies before listing an item for sale on our site to be sure we allow it and, if we do, be certain it is in the spirit of LiveAuctioneers and gain awareness of any rules and conditions we, or any other such jurisdiction, may have regarding its sale.
Create Your Auction
Auction Type
In order to upload a Timed+ auction, select Timed Auction as the Auction Type in AuctionMobility and then check the box for Cross list this auction on LiveAuctioneers as shown below. You can also review the AM2LA Help Center for step-by-step instructions on how to setup your Timed+ auction.
Once you’ve created your timed auction on AuctionMobility, your unpublished catalog will appear on the ‘Pre-Auction’ tab on LiveAuctioneers.com, there you will select payments, payments terms & conditions, shipping, cover images, marketing and invoice messaging.
Required Fields
The following are required fields on AuctionMobility and will be passed to LiveAuctioneers upon clicking 'create auction':
- Auction Fields
- Auction Title
- Auction Description
- Catalog Start Time
- Catalog End Time
- Staggered End Time
- Please note: We encourage a minimum stagger time of 30 seconds
- Location
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Terms & Conditions (incl Shipping Instructions)
- Bid Increments
- Buyer’s Premium (single value)
The following are required lot fields:
- Lot Fields
- Lot Number
- Lot Title
- Lot Description
- Starting Bid Amount
- Reserve Amount
- Lot End Time
- Lot Images
Buyer’s Premiums
Buyer’s premium is a required field for Timed+ auctions. Once the auction is created, this cannot be amended.
Provided the seller is not using the buyer’s premium on AuctionMobility in Auction Studio or on your front-end, you can edit the buyer’s premium values or add tiered buyer’s premium on LiveAuctioneers.
Note: Buyers Premium on LA is only shown on the catalog/lot pages for reference and is not used anywhere to calculate total hammer prices.
Tiered buyer’s premium is supported on LiveAuctioneers. If you bypass including your buyer’s premium in AuctionMobility, you can edit your buyer’s premium on LiveAuctioneers to reflect your desired tiered buyer’s premium. We recommend setting the highest buyer’s premium as you will not have the option to modify it once the catalog is published.
Paying the LiveAuctioneers Listing Fee
Prior to proofing your catalog on LiveAuctioneers.com you will be prompted to pay for your auction with your uploaded rate plan.
Proof & Publish Your Auction
Once you have completed the setup of your Timed+ catalog, press ‘approve auction’ on LiveAuctioneers.com and select ‘Published’ in the upper right hand corner from the ‘Status’ drop down menu in AuctionMobility. We recommend publishing your catalog on both platforms within a few minutes of each other, the order in which you publish does not impact your catalog.
Please note, new sellers who have not yet unlocked full upload access will need to contact Support to have their Timed+ auction published.
Once you have published your Timed+ auction, you can search your auction ID in the ‘Live Auction’ tab on LiveAuctioneers.com. In the event your auction does not appear immediately, please be aware it can take up to 40 minutes to appear in the ‘Live Auction’ tab.
If your auction is still not visible in the 'Live Auction' tab after an hour, please return to AuctionMobility and check that your catalog was created successfully and that cross listing was selected for the auction. Forgot to Publish Your Auction?
If you forgot to publish the auction on one of the two platforms and the auction has gone live and bidders have begun to bid on lots, we recommend you publish on the remaining platform as soon as possible. Once you’ve published, as soon as the next bid is placed, both platforms will sync and show bid activity.
