| < Previous Step: Submit Payment for Auction Set Up |
This article describes how you can proof your auction and then publish it to LiveAuctioneers.com.
This article contains the following sections:
Proofing Your Auction
Once you've submitted payment for your auction setup, you will be taken to the Proof tab. Here you should review your Auction Details and also ensure that your Buyer's Premium, Terms & Conditions, and Policies are accurate since these cannot be changed once your sale is published (learn more here).
Please note, if payment has not already been submitted for your listing fee and any advertising you may have purchased, you will need to submit that payment before you will be able to proof or publish your auction.
Preview Your Auction
You can see what your auction and catalog will look like to potential bidders by clicking on the Preview Auction link found on the Proof tab.
Publishing Your Auction
From the bottom of the Proof tab, read through all of the LiveAuctioneers Terms & Conditions carefully and scroll to the bottom of the Terms and Conditions window.
Once you've read the Terms & Conditions, check the Accept Agreement box and then click the Approve Auction button.
- You will not be able to check the Accept Agreement box until you have scrolled all the way to the bottom of the Terms and Conditions window.
After publishing, bidders cannot immediately see your sale. It can take 1-2 hours for your catalog to fully load on LiveAuctioneers.com, depending on how big your sale is and how busy the platform is at that time.
Please note, listings are typically indexed into search results and categories within a few minutes of being published, but the process can potentially take up to 24 hours.
Once published, your sale is considered 'Live'. You can access your sale at any time by clicking on the Auctions tab on your Seller Dashboard and then selecting the Live Auction option.
