Edit Auction Date/Time

This article provides steps for editing the date or time of your auction.

Key Considerations

• Auction Time and Date edits can only be made up to 2 hours before the start of an auction.
• Users are not notified about last-minute time changes, so it is advised to communicate directly with bidders about changes to your auction.
• If you have marketing scheduled for your auction, be sure to notify marketing@liveauctioneers.com of the changes in order to make any possible adjustments.

Auction Has Not Been Published

If your Timed, Timed+, or Live auction has not been published yet, you can edit the date and time in the 'Auction Details' section of your auction by following the steps below:

1. From your Seller Dashboard, click on the Auction Setup tab.

2. Click on the Complete button to the right of the applicable auction.

3. On the Auction Details page, scroll down and click the Edit link to the right of the 'Auction Date & Time' section.

4. Select the new Auction Start Date and Time and click the Save button.

Published Live Auction

For auctions that have already been published, the method for updating the Start Date/Time varies depending on the Auction Type.

If your Live auction has already been published, follow the steps below to update the date and/or time:

1. From the Seller Dashboard, hover over the Auctions tab and select Live Auction.
2. Click on the title of the applicable auction.
3. Click on the LiveConsole tab.
4. Click the Change Time link located below the Live auction title.
5. Edit the date and/or time and click the Save link. 
   • Time Zones will be automatically detected and changes will update within 5 minutes.

Published Timed Auction

For auctions that have already been published, the method for updating the Start Date/Time varies depending on the Auction Type.

If your Timed auction has already been published, follow the steps below to update the date and/or time:

1. Log into to your seller dashboard and copy this URL:
   • https://partners.liveauctioneers.com/upcoming-catalog-list/####
2. Replace the "####" with your LiveAuctioneers House ID.
   • Example: https://partners.liveauctioneers.com/upcoming-catalog-list/869
   • Click here to learn where you can find your House ID.
3. Once the URL is complete with your unique House ID, copy and paste it in your browser to be taken directly to your console page. 
   • You may bookmark this direct link for future use.
4. From your console page, click the Change Time link below the applicable Timed auction title.
5. Edit the date and/or time and click on the Save link. 

   • Time Zones will be automatically detected and changes will update within 5 minutes.

     

Published Timed+ Auction

For auctions that have already been published, the method for updating the Start Date/Time varies depending on the Auction Type.

Once your Timed+ Auction has started, the sale Start and End Dates and times cannot be changed.
