About Announcements
The free Announcements feature can be used to share important updates with your bidders through your item listings on the LiveAuctioneers website and mobile app.
Announcements will appear under the 'Shipping & Auction Policies' section under each item listing.
You also have the option to email your announcement to your registered bidders. Your announcement will be delivered through the LiveAuctioneers messaging system, where bidders can reply. It will also be sent to the email address they have on file.
Example of an emailed announcement.
Important: Use of the Announcement feature to unnecessarily email bidders or otherwise spam accounts will result in the removal of this feature from your account, or potentially further restriction of your account privileges.

If you would like to edit an existing announcement without sending your registered bidders another email, you can remove your existing announcement and create a new one, leaving Send an email to my registered bidders box unchecked.
Removing Announcements
You can remove an announcement by clicking the Remove link to the right of the applicable announcement on the Marketing page.
