About Performance Reporting
The LiveAuctioneers analytics engine and reporting suite offers easy-to-access, intelligent reports that drive better, smarter decisions for your business. Track detailed auction performance over time, measure direct results from your advertising campaigns, and report on the crucial underbid activity that contributes to your bottom line.
Post-Sale Summary Reports
Post-Sale Summary Reports allow you to easily view registrations, bids, sales, and lift in hammer driven by bidders on LiveAuctioneers. This data is especially helpful for defining strategies and future auction planning, such as post-auction analysis, identifying historical trends, and measuring underbid value gained through LiveAuctioneers.
To access your Post-Sale Summary Report, click on the Performance tab on your Seller Dashboard and then click on the auction you'd like to review.
The report will show your lift in hammer, total bids, and which of your lots were the most successful lots. It will also show bidder insights like whether your bidders were new or returning, and where they are located.
The graph at the bottom of the page displays data specific to the time leading up to the auction. Click on the tabs along the top of the graph to change the data being displayed. Hover over the Information icon next to each to tab to learn more about that data set.
Upcoming Auction Reports
Upcoming Auction Reports are helpful for pre-sale monitoring and ensuring your auction is on track for successful results. View your advertising campaigns, pageviews, registrations, absentee bids, item saves, and leading bid values leading up to your sale date.
Most Upcoming Auction Reports are available on the Home page of the Seller Dashboard. For more information about the reports on the Home page, click here.
Additional reporting can be found on the Bidder Management (Bidders > Manual Approval) page.
- Leading Bid Value: Tracks the amount of revenue you could earn from your upcoming catalog. LBV calculates the current competition on all lots. It is a more accurate monetary representation of where bidding on items currently lies.
- Total Bid Value: The total amount of all absentee bids placed. TBV represents interest in the auction as a monetary value, but is not representative of what the auction will achieve.
The Pending column refers to the dollar amount of absentee bids placed by bidders who registered for the sale but have not been approved to bid yet.
Note: When a bidder places an absentee bid before being approved, and is later approved with a lower Bid Limit, the system does not retract or adjust that original bid (even if it exceeds the bidder's approved limit). These bids may still appear on the front end and in the bid value reports, even though they won't be honored during the sale.
